Diet

Diet/Nutritional supplements

A diet should not only lead to the desired weight, but should also aim to maintain the achieved weight in the long term. This can be achieved by combining a healthy, balanced and varied diet with exercise. Time is often short and we resort to ready-made products, in which the natural and vital ingredients of fresh food are usually only reduced or no longer present at all. Here, dietary supplements can help as supportive products in losing weight, in order to prevent malnutrition. They thus promote health, improve the quality of life and additionally stimulate the metabolism when exercising.

Most people today still associate dieting with starvation. This does not have to be the case. Food supplements not only serve as supportive products for losing weight, but also help to counteract the feeling of hunger in the long term.

L-Carnitine

is only produced by the body in small quantities and consists of amino acids. It is responsible for the transport of fatty acids in the cells and is therefore essential for a functioning metabolism. It promotes fat burning and increases endurance. The name is derived from the Spanish word for meat = carne, because it is found predominantly in red meat and is therefore important for protein formation. Since the excessive consumption of red meat is demonstrably detrimental to health, L-carnitine can be used as a supplement for this purpose and is accordingly also ideal for vegan and vegetarian diets.

The food supplements are mainly administered in powdered capsules or in liquid form. No harmful side effects are known, provided that the dosage recommendations are followed. It is recommended to consult a doctor before taking the supplement in order to exclude interactions in combination with other medicines or in case of existing diseases.
